DNC Welcome Events 2024
Paramount Events had the incredible honor of leading the food operations for the Democratic National Convention’s Welcome Events at the Navy Pier’s Aon Ballroom. As culinary leaders for these marquee gatherings, we partnered with some of the city’s most talented chefs, celebrating the diverse flavors, stories, and traditions that unite our neighborhoods.
From welcoming 8,000 local and international media on Saturday to serving 10,000 delegates and teams on Sunday, thousands of guests savored the best of Chicago’s culinary scene. The “Chicago Style” theme came to life—from Paramount Events’ neighborhood-inspired dishes to Levy’s iconic deep-dish pizza and Chicago dogs, and Eli’s Cheesecake Company’s show-stopping 1,000-pound cheesecakes.
