Paramount caters another beautiful wedding! Thanks for the shout out, Modern Luxury!
Melissa Beeskow & Adam Seidman

It was Cupid who brought Melissa and Adam together—OkCupid, to be exact. The two had signed up for the online dating website, hoping to collect a few funny stories and maybe meet some new friends, but they hadn’t bet on meeting each other and falling head over heels. After a nine-month engagement, the couple tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at The Murphy.
The bride walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, her late father’s favorite classical piece, carrying an elegant bouquet of multi-colored flowers. The jewel tones and Art-Deco theme continued on the tables where centerpieces featured a mix of plum and orange mokara orchid blooms submerged in cylinder vases and arrangements with orange mango spray roses and green hypericum berries.
Cocktail hour was at The Driehaus Museum next door, which “no one wanted to leave because they wanted to keep exploring the gorgeous setting,” admits the bride. Once at the reception, guests enjoyed food provided by Paramount Events, a banana and vanilla Art-Deco themed cake by Elysia Root Cakes and danced the night away to a mixture of vinyl and digital music from Cage & Aquarium’s Tyler Huffman. The new husband and wife then jetted off to Italy for two glorious weeks, reveling in their shared love for food, wine and new adventures.
WHAT WE LEARNED
“Listen and remember to laugh. It is such an exciting time, but deciding on wedding details definitely helps you find out how well you communicate as a couple,” says Melissa.
