Jodi Fyfe of Paramount Events, The Lakewood and Eden shares her tips to hosting the perfect holiday party, which is sure to be the envy of all your friends.

1. Not Your Ordinary Holiday Cocktail Party

For large groups (think corporate holiday parties), it may not make sense to host a full seated dinner. Many of our clients enjoy celebrating cocktail party style where our chefs prepare unique hors d’oeuvres with seasonal ingredients leaving guests the entire night to mix & mingle without having to take time to sit and eat.

2. Hot Chocolate Bar

On the more causal end, some clients like hosting in their own homes or offices – but that doesn’t need to be boring! They can still capture that cozy, festive feel with a Hot Chocolate Bar. Paramount Events makes Hot Chocolate (as well as the all-important marshmallows!) from scratch. And we’re proud to say that this particular station has become the hit of many holiday parties.

3. Hot Chocolate Spoons

And on that sweet note, Hot Chocolate Spoons are the on-trend addition to Sweet Stations this year. Just dip in hot milk, or even in your hot chocolate for something extra delicious. It’s a fun twist that adds a little something unique to your party. A great way to make it memorable!

4. Holiday Sangria

Many clients worry about pleasing everyone when it comes to having the perfect cocktail that fits everyone’s tastes. Skip the individual cocktails and keep things simple. Guests have been loving our Holiday Sangria bar. There is something for everyone here! Plus, it keeps lines at the bar much shorter, so there’s more time for everyone to spend on the dance floor.

5. Hire Paramount Events!

The holidays can be stressful, especially when you are trying to plan a holiday celebration on top of it all! That’s where Paramount Events comes in. All too often, the designated party planner doesn’t get to enjoy their own party! When they come to us, we take care of it all from set up to clean up. And, guests will rave about the delicious food and drinks when you have our acclaimed chefs and in-house mixologist in your corner.
