Thinking of starting a juice cleanse for the New Year but don’t know where to begin? You’re not alone! Here are some juicing benefits and also how to get started on your juice cleanse.

 

Juicing is an easy way to get all the necessary vitamins and minerals without chowing down on veggies all day! It’s also great because the juice makes it easier for your body to break down the vitamins and minerals. Juicing can make you look and feel great!

 

Juicing tends to last for about a week. This gives your body enough time to fully flush out toxins and absorb all the necessary nutrients from the juice. The first step to starting a cleanse is purchasing a juicer. Depending on your skill level (and dedication), different juicers will work better for different people. Make sure to do your research before purchasing.

 

The next step is to find juice recipes and head out to purchase the ingredients. The juice you choose to make is totally up to you! Here’s one of our favorite recipes to get you started:

 

“Power Up Green Juice”

 

-Half a bunch of Swiss Chard
-Half a bunch of Kale
-Half a bunch of Italian Parsley
-Half a bunch of Cilantro
-Half a bunch of Celery
-Half a Cucumber
-2 Cored Granny Smith Apples
-2 Peeled Lemons
-1 Piece of Ginger
-Half a Teaspoon of Sea Salt
-Half a Teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper

 

Always be sure to wash all the vegetables before juicing!
